Directions: Recommended dose between 2-8 grams daily. 4g is approximately a level teaspoon.
Start with about 1/2 teaspoon shot of water or juice with breakfast the first time you take it. Dosage can be increased to a level teaspoon if you handle the 1/2 tsp.
People who are overloaded may experience nausea as MSM is a great detoxifier and the body will try to eliminate. Some people may experience increased bowel movements and this is the reason for starting with a smaller amount. MSM is a great detoxifier and reducing the amount will stop any excess movements.
Listen to your body. Like Vitamin C, excess amounts will be excreted. MSM is nontoxic, the safety levels in line with water. It's ok to increase up to 3 teaspoons or more if you feel you need it, i.e. in pain or coming down with a cold or virus.
MSM tastes slightly bitter so extra water or juice can disguise the taste. A small amount of warm water (not hot) helps dissolve the powder quickly. If taking other supplements you can take them now.
